Part of a weeklong series titled “World of Mothers” looking at what motherhood means around the globe. This installment focuses on a women-only village in Kenya that provides a safe haven for women and teaches them the foundations of becoming a mother. “World of Mothers” was the first of an ongoing series I created looking at how one part of everyday life is experienced worldwide.
